Do Fallen Burmese Government Soilders deserve public funeral?

The new 'civilian led' Burmese Government forces have been waging war against Kachin Independence Army (KIA) since 9th June 2011. There is no doubt that both sides must have casualties. Many media and sources close to KIA claim that the casualty is particularly high in the government side. About 30,000 government soldiers are thought be either dead or missing.

The more important question to be answered is though, do the fallen soldiers deserve proper public funeral? Does the government have the responsibility to report the war to the public openly? What is the honor of soldiers if they do not get proper public funeral when they die in the name of defending country?

People of Burma need to ask Thein Sein government to answer this questions. Otherwise, it is time to reconsider the benefit of serving in army.

သမၼတ သိန္းစိန္ ဦးေဆာင္ေသာ ျမန္မာအစိုးရသည္ ကခ်င္လြတ္ေျမာက္ေရးတပ္မေတ္ (KIA) ကို လြန္ခဲ့ ေသာ ၂၀၁၁ ခုႏွစ္ ဇြန္လ ၉ ရက္ေန႔မွစ၍ စစ္ဆင္တိုက္ခိုက္ေနတာ ယခုဆို တစ္ႏွစ္နီပါး ရွိေနပါၿပီ။ လက္နက္ကိုင္ တုိက္ခိုက္ၾကသည္ျဖစ္၍ ႏွစ္ဖက္စလုံး အေသအေျပာက္ရွိမည္မွာ ေျပာစရာမလိုပါ။ 

သတင္းမီဒီယာ မ်ား၏ေဖာ္ျပခ်က္မ်ားအရ အစိုးရစစ္သားမ်ား အေယာက္ ၃၀,၀၀၀ ခန္႕ ေသ (သို႕) ေပ်ာက္ ဆုံးေနၿပီျဖစ္ေၾကာင္းသိ ရပါသည္။ အေရးႀကီးေသာ အခ်က္တစ္ခုမွာ - ထုိသို႕'တိုင္းျပည္နဲ႕လူမ်ဳိးအတြက္' ဆိုၿပီး အသက္ေပး ေသဆုံးသြားၾကေသာ စစ္သား၊ စစ္ဗိုလ္မ်ား ကို အစိုးရ က အမ်ားျပည္သူမ်ားေရွ႕ေမွာက္ တြင္ သင့္ေလ်ာ္ေသာ ဇာပန အခမ္းအနား မ်ားကို ျပဳလုပ္ေပးျခင္း မေတြ႕ရ တာျဖစ္ပါသည္။ 

က်ဆုံးသြားေသာ စစ္သား၊ စစ္ဗိုလ္မ်ား၏ က်န္ရစ္မိသားစု၀င္မ်ား၊ မိခင္မ်ား၊ သားသမီးမ်ား၊ ဇနီးမယားမ်ား ကို အစိုးရက တစ္စုံတရာ ေျဖရွင္းခ်က္ ပေပးသည့္အျပင္ ဖုံးကြယ္ထားသည္မွာ အစိုးရ ၏ ျပည္သူအေပၚ တာ၀န္ခံမႈကို ေမးခြန္း ထုတ္စရာ ရွိေနပါေၾကာင္း ျပည္သူအက်ဳိးကို ေမွ်ာ္၍ တင္ျပလိုက္ရပါသည္။
